OUR CONSTITUTION

We are a registered CIC 14220334.

The motion: Making York an Anti-Racist and Inclusive City was approved on 21st October 2021 at City of York’s council’s full meeting. 

Our mission is to collaboratively develop and implement a long-term anti-racism and inclusion strategy and action-plan led by people with lived experiences of racism and discrimination that will be swiftly by implemented by the council. As the strategy has been passed, IERUK is now working on the full implementation of the action-plan.

OUR WORK SO FAR

HOW WE MAKE DECISIONS

Our intersectional and ethnically diverse working group members are those with lived experiences of racism and discrimination. We meet up on a monthly basis to make decisions in relation to the anti-racist and inclusion strategy and action plan.

The leadership and management teams are responsible in making sound and informed decisions on the operational, governance and the direction of organisation, IERUK.
